Action continued on Saturday,15 May with eight fixtures and Wakiso Giants against Kitara was a nine goal thriller. Wakiso Giants beat Kitara 7:2 with a Vianney Ssekajugo brace inspiring the "Purple Sharks" to a vital win that lifted them to nineth on the table with 30 points.
Former Masaza cup side Gomba FC's midfielder Joshua Lubwama "Leti" opened the scoring in the 14th minute with stalwart Satro Edward hitting the second four minutes to to halftime.
Ssekajugo made it three nill for the Douglas Bamweyana coached side at the stroke of half. On resumption of the second half, Gadafi Wahab made it 4:0 and Rahmat Ssenfuka made 5:0 at five minutes past hour mark.
Vianney Ssekajugo completed his brace in the 72nd minute to make it 6:0 before Amos Muwonge made it 7:0 in the 81st minute.
Kusemererwa Patrick and Agondeze Edison scored for the Bunyoro side in the 82nd and the 85th minute but their efforts were of less advantage as they had been already devastated.
The win leaves Wakiso Giants in 9th position with 30 points from six wins, 22 draws and six losses with six matches to go.
