Ugandan singer Eddie Kenzo recently had his “Made in Africa” album feature on a billboard at the famous Times Square in New York City. This is the second time the African star has appeared on the world-famous advertising platform, with the latest appearance being lobbied by Global Strategist, Busie.

Who is Busie Matsiko-Andan?

Busie is an award-winning global strategist and serial entrepreneur who has previously been recognized as one of the Most Influential people of African Descent.

She is currently the CEO at Pont Global and is also the creator of RESET, a platform for thought-leaders to discuss the reflective pivot of their businesses as the world navigates COVID-19 together. Busie has also hosted the first ever non-partisan show, encouraging Africans in the diaspora to exercise their civic duty of voting in last year’s US election.

Busie has mastered the art of personal and professional reinvention and combines savvy business acumen, with the ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and manifests powerful ideas from concept to reality.

As one of the most influential people of African Descent, she is a dot-connecter who believes in selflessly helping others discover their true potential and transformation.

Having numerous achievements, Busie was recently quoted, where she said that “one of her proudest moments was brokering a music distribution deal between Eddy Kenzo and Prime Music Partners in New York City. This culminated from my brokering the deal that saw Eddy Kenzo become the 1st East African Artist to get a sought-after Time Square Billboard Display. I brokered and negotiated the same Time Square Billboard deal for Cassper Nyovest, the South African rapper.  I am proud of the fact I continue to be a Segway between Africa and the Diaspora. That is continuing to display our talent in the western world,” she is quoted.

Busie’s focus is to continue to bring the limelight to Africa and change the narrative that the Western world has long depicted it to be.
