KCCA FC had trailed Police FC 1:0 by the 13th minute when Muwadda Mawejje tapped in from close range with a ball well laid by Duncan Sseninde who had a brilliant move before passing the ball to the scorer for the Cops.
However, KCCA FC didn't relinquish and tried all at takes and finally hit an equalizer in the 72nd minute by Sadat Anaku, heading in strongly off a well laid cross by Neheyimana Kato.
The result means KCCA FC are fourth on the table with one match to the end of the first round. KCCA have won eight, drawn and lost as many matches three with 26 points.
On the other side however, Police stands fifth on the table with 25 points from seven wins, four draws and three losses with one match to end the first round.
The Cops also had their own midfielder Yusuf Sozi named man of the match and walked home with 100,000/- from Pilsner lager.
At King George IV Memorial Stadium Tororo, league debutants MYDA remained the only winless side in the league with a 3:0 home loss to UPDF FC to make it 11 losses and three draws this season.
UPDF got the lead in the 23rd minute courtesy of Eseru Robert, Kalumba Brian doubled the lead in the 34th minute before Kasirye Davis put the icing on the cake in 60th minute.
UPDF FC Robert Eseru was named man of the match and hence pocketed 100,000/- as given to him by Pilsner lager.
UPDF FC stands sixth on the table with 24 points whereas MYDA remains glued to the bottom of the table with three points and are unlikely to to survive being relegated.
