Busoga United has finally won their first game after 12 games of waiting as Shaka Ssozi headed home in the 56th minute after a beautiful ball laid in by Atwao Abubakari found Magero Balabala who cleverly brushed it to find a well positioned Shaka.
Prior to this game Busoga United had lost 7 games drawing 5 leaving the team with only 5 points. With today's win, the team still remains 14th with 8 points but has gone a step closer out of relegation because Kyetume that is in 13th stands at 11 after losing 1:0 to KCCA.
Busoga United's next match is on Saturday 13th March with a trip away to Wakiso giants.
