The Uganda national U20 team on 21st September, 2019 played to a one all stalemate with Eritrea.
This was the official opening match of the CECAFA U20 championship taking place in Uganda at Pece War Memorial Stadium, Gulu and at Njeru FUFA Technical center.
The home side scored through Ivan Bogere in the 37th minute courtesy of Yiga Najib's cross but the visitors (Eritrea) levelled matters through Mewael Tesfai Yosief in the 57th minute.
In the other match played at 2PM, Sudan were 4:0 victors against Djibouti.
Action continues on Monday for both sides as Eritrea host Sudan at 2Pm whereas Uganda will play as visitors against Djibouti at 4Pm still at Pece war memorial stadium, Gulu.
