Anonymous Claims Responsible for Hacking and Restoring Internet in Uganda

A notorious hacker known as Anonymous has come out and claimed responsible for hacking and restoring Internet in Uganda, 5 days since it was switched off in the country. He has stated his reasons for doing this;

Through a Facebook page under the name Anonymous (@Boliviazicaa), this team of hackers has put up a post bragging and stating how they are the ones responsible for the restored partial internet connection in Uganda.

we successfully restored back the internet but you must be aware this is temporary, the main server in that country is still disconnected manually, this means, we would be supplying you internet from here, it might not be as strong as you may wish but you have to manage this way. With the pressure we would be putting out, we hope the internet is fully restored in no time. Our systems would be operating 24/7 as from now, it would take us a lot of manpower but never mind, we are doing this for you all. #Zica"- they posted.

It took us days to get the idea of a radio internet wave which we’ve sent to Uganda now, this might be countered in no time by the killer government, but before then, you must utilize this opportunity and make your voice heard.
