Uganda Cranes head coach Jonathan McKinstry has on Thursday 7th January,2020/2021 named the final squad for the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2020 Finals to be held in Cameroon from 16th January to 7th February 2021.
He has named Four Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) players after they exited the CAF Confederation on an away goals rule (3:3) to Rwanda's AS Kigali.
They include Goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, midfielder Bright Anukani, defender Denis Iguma and on form striker Brian Aheebwa.
McKinstry also named Vipers SC captain Halid Lwaliwa the team captain after his captaincy guided Uganda Cranes to 2019 CECAFA senior challenge Cup championship.
After their last match of the Pre-CHAN mini tournament against Niger on Thursday 7th January,2021 in Yaounde, the Cranes will head to Douala on Friday 8th January 2021, where they will hold another training camp for one week ahead of the group stage matches.
