So many people have been trying to figure out who the new Miss Uganda is, Oliver Nakakande who was crowned in the July of 2019 hence replacing Miss World Africa 2018 Quinn Abenakyo but now Blizz Uganda has collected her full biography/profile and here we have it for you.
Oliver Nakakande, who won the most popular beauty pageant in the country after beating 22 others at the grand finale that happened at Kampala Sheraton Hotel on the 26th of July had also earlier been chosen as Miss Congeniality and was followed by Elizabeth Bagaya (2nd runners up) and Mariam Nyamatte who also won Miss Photogenic became third overall (2nd runners up).
Who is Oliver Nakakande?
Nakakande Oliver is a Ugandan who was born in Wakiso and is currently still 24 years old. She was born to Mr David Vvumba who lives in Kawempe and according to her, she has other parents; the one Mr & Mrs Emmanuel Bakunzi from Naalya, a suburb of Kampala.
Education Background:
Oliver is a second year student at Middlesex University, Dubai – United Arab Emirates currently pursuing a degree in Business certifying in Marketing and she is currently in her final year. She says she’s going to finish has course online.
Oliver Nakakande’s Career:
The voted Miss Uganda 2019, Nakakande Oliver says that it has been her dream to participate in any big beauty pageant more so the Miss Uganda. Her first participation in a beauty pagent was five years ago at UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass Communication that she won.
She hopes to use her new position to help others mostly the needy as well as promoting the girl child, just like Quinn Abenakyo whom she succeeded. Oliver also looks forward at rising Uganda’s flag high at Miss World competitions later this year.
She attributes her success to God’s blessings because she doesn’t see any other attribute in herself that could have led her to the crown that contenders didn’t have.
Is Oliver Nakakande Dating or Married?
During a TV interview held recently, Oliver claimed that she is currently still very single and not searching as she still wants to stay single and first full fill her dreams in life.
Hobbies;
Nakakande loves sports and favorite is swimming. She also loves playing basketball as well as interacting and socializing with others.
