Match day one of the Star Times Uganda Premier League continues today and at Blizz Uganda we take a look at what the midfield maestro has gotten for the side which set him the pace for the journey fifteen years ago.

Police FC opens their campaign today with a home fixture against Wakiso Giants at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. Police FC who narrowly missed relegation last season finishing 13th will this campaign be captained by Uganda Cranes star Tonny Mawejje who comes back at the club after 15 years ago.

When he left that long time ago, he had won the CECAFA Club Championship for the cops and he comes back with experience to help the side revive its glory days which it is currently the opposite of what it was 15 years ago.

The additions of Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye, Duncan Sseninde, Hassan Muhamood, Eric Ssenjobe, goalkeepers Tom Ikara & Derrick Ochan and of course Mawejje will definitely add zest and zing to the club. BUL entertains SC Villa at Kyabazinga Stadium in Jinja as Mbarara City will be at home at Kakyeka Stadium as they play host to URA FC.
