Mbarara city FC have today 17th September, 2019 announced Paul Nkata as their new coach.
Paul Nkata is one of the most experienced coaches Uganda has gotten. He has coached URA in Uganda and in Kenya he coached Tusker, Bandari and Kakamega Home boys.
In January 2019, the tactician was sacked At Kakamega Home boys with allegations that he involved in match fixing.
He arrives at the Ankole based side at a time when they in 10th h position with only one win in five matches, with two wins and two draws.
It's is alleged that the supporters of Mbarara City wanted Mbarara City to bring back former coach Livingstone Mbabazi who is now at Onduparaka but to their surprise is the news about the appointment of Paul Nkata.
He will be assisted by Brian Ssenyondo who has since this season been at the helm of the team.
