Army spokesperson Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso has come out and revealed how they have Moses Nkonge Kibalama, the man who handed over the National Unity Platform (NUP) party to Bobi Wine for his own safety.

During a presser at Uganda Media Centre, Brig Gen Flavia revealed following reports of how Kibalama had been missing from his home for three days and security personnel wearing military uniform have been deployed at his house since he disappeared on Monday.

He is the founder and former leader of the National Unity Reconciliation and Development.

”What I know is that the security is holding him wherever he is and it is holding him for good reasons. Most importantly, to give him safety,” Byekwaso said.

In response, Bobi Wine said all Ugandans watched the Deputy Spokesperson of the UPDF deny that Mr. Nkonge Kibalama is in their custody.

“Today, the spokesman of UPDF comes out to say that he is being held by security for his own protection. Protection from what?”
