Bright Stars FC have on Friday 18th September,2020 named offensive midfielder Nvule Jamil Kisitu as their new addition to the squad.
The midfielder cum forward joins as a free agent after seeing off his contract with Big League Side Kitara Football Club who he played for last season. He has put pen to paper on a two year contract that will see him play for the Matuga based side till 2022.
Nvule Jamil is a product of Masaza cup having played for Buwekula as a captain and also had a season at Ssingo FC 2017.
He had also played club football for Onduparaka FC, Kiboga Young FC (now Mbale Heroes) before switching to his new destination. He also played University Football League for Kampala University.
He now joins new recruits like Emmanuel Loki (from Bulemeezi Saza team), Gabriel Elagu, Saddam Masereka, Marvin Ssemayange mention but a few. The team also renewed the contract of senior player and defender Derrick Ngoobi.
Bright Stars FC will this be season be under the stewardship of new coach Baker Mbowa who will work alongwith former assistant Simon Peter Mugerwa. Bright Stars narrowly survived the cut last season, finishing 13th on a sixteen team log with 29 points from7 wins, 8 draws and 10 losses.
