Musicians Cinderella Sanyu and Ykee Benda have been officially unveiled as the new leaders of the Uganda Musicians Association.
It has been a long journey to get the right committee of the Uganda Musicians Association however, Blizz Uganda can affirm that the firm one is up following the swearing in.
The swearing and handover ceremony has taken place on Tuesday 8th at Mestil Hotel where veteran singer Sophie Gombya has handed off the office tools as the UMA President to the Kireka Boy having recently thrown in the towel so as to concentrate on her political career.
Cindy has also replaced the 'Boy so tender' as the Vice President and accordingly the Association is positive of yielding more fruits under this new leadership.
"Today @ykeebenda was legally sworn in as UMA president taking on from Sophie Gombya. The handover ceremony was held at mestil hotel.
Also @cindysanyu was sworn in as Vice president of UMA. We look forward to a good leadership with these two at the top. We would like to also thank our out going president Sophie Gombya for everything she put in during her leadership and wish her the best in her new journey," said a statement from Uganda Musicians Association.
