CID Speaks Out About Releasing Bizonto From their Custody

Bizonto comedians who were arrested last Friday for promoting sectarian messages are set to regain their freedom two days while still under detention.

Reports coming in from top security authorities indicate how Uganda Police has been ordered to release the four comedians unconditionally.

The four suspects who are accused of putting up a sectarian message through their comedy skits were arrested from their work place during their Friday morning radio show at the Bukoto based Radio Simba and these include; Julius Sserwanja aka Kidomoole (The group leader, Mbabali Maliseeri alias Uncle Luyuugumo, Gold Kimatono alias Opeto and Omuzinyuuzi.

"We are hoping to have them released today" said Charles Twiine, the CID spokesperson when contacted today.
