Popular political TV show host Hajj Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira has quit the Kamwokya based NBS TV to join city business, SK Mbuga's STV.
Sources intimate that the seasoned journalist is set to replicate his former show at NBS TV, "One on One with Tamale Mirundi" in daily show dubbed 'Olwogooto Lwa Work" airing weekdays 9-11am where he will be hosting the controversial Presidential Advisor on Media issues, Joseph Tamale Mirundi every Tuesday.
However, according to Joseph Kigozi, the Chief Strategy Officer of Next Media Services in a statement released on Monday 13th, he revealed how they had painfully agreed to let part ways with their highly prized asset so as to engage in active politics thereby affirming how Hajj Kazibwe would be dearly be missed irrespective of the fact that he would be always welcome at the political center whenever he felt like returning home.
"Although it is with unhappiness that we say goodbye to Kazibwe, we encourage those that would love to grow in politics to follow their dreams.
The memories he leaves us with are priceless. He provided all who watched NBS TV during his time shots great moderation that sparked memorable insightful debates and for that, we thank Kazibwe enormously. We look forward to welcoming him back to Next Media Services in the future," read part of Joseph Kigozi's farewell message to Hajj Bashir Mbazira.
