Kamwokya based Next Media's NBS UNCUT gossip team together with the Kampala Lord Mayor, Ssalongo Erias Lukwago have on Monday 11th surprised faded singer Asiimwe Nambooze alias Hajjat Madinah with food and financial assistance.
Once a household name in the local music industry with her "Bibuuza" hit single, the poverty stricken singer had resorted to maize selling by the roadside in the city center as the lockdown financial crisis continues to bite.
Apart from being surprised with food relief from the UNCUT group, Hajjat Madinah has also got some financial assistance from "Omuloodi" as start up capital so as to get off the road and start up a bigger business venture.
