City tycoon Hamis Kiggundu through his Ham Foundation has on Saturday 4th donated Shs100 million to the National Covid-19 task force towards the distribution of relief food items to the vulnerable.
Kiggundu has on Saturday morning handed over a dummy cheque and cash to Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda (head of the government's response team) in Kampala while flagging off the distribution of food relief to the vulnerable who cannot access a living following the lockdown of the country in the bid of fighting the pandemic.
Food items like Posho, beans, salt and milk are expected to be given out to the vulnerable in the distribution program intended to respond to the population that is badly affected by the measures taken by government in order to stop the COVID-19 pandemic.
