Retired Major General Kasirye Gwanga, a Ugandan senior miliary officer in the Uganda People's Defense Forces has taken off some time to censor the current local music industry where he has revealed the winners and losers.
Though the renowned principled military general who way back retired to solitary life is well known for talking politics and bush war topics, surprisingly, he is also a real follower of the local music and a fanatic of musicians Jose Chameleone, David Lutalo and MP Bobi Wine whereas Big Size Bebe Cool turns out to him as an idiot basing on his weighing scale.
During an exclusive interview with Buganda Kingdom's BBS Telefayina last Thursday, Major General Kasirye Gwanga briefly shared his insight of how he simply embraces the current local music industry.
Kasirye Gwanga couldn't stop hailing his artiste of all times, veteran singer Jose Chameleone for hitting studios and penned the thrilling lyrics of the 'Baliwa' hit song that really hold enough water no wonder he has been following him since then.
He also applauded David Lutalo's trending 'Ensi' hit song that is dominated with a lot of edutainment and worth listening to. In the nutshell, Kasirye Gwanga believes there are some mediocre acts in the local music industry despite being celebrated as big artistes whom he accordingly dubs as idiots and worth not deserving any following.
Golden Band Musician Catherine Kusasira and Gagamel Music Band CEO Big Size Bebe Cool are one of those whom Kasirye Gwanga believes are just idiots with nothing to show case musically apart from the constant begging from the NRM government so as to better their worrying standards of living.
While comparing and contrasting legendary musicians Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, Kasirye Gwanga could stop applauding Bobi Wine as a wise and talented singer turned musician no wonder he is currently a crowd puller unlike Bebe Cool who is nothing but an idiot that was poorly raised up from childhood no wonder he reached to the extent of escaping from his parents' home to seek refugee in the ghettos and start smoking cheap weed as he aimed for stardom.
