URA F.C on Friday 31st January, 2020 beaten league defending champions KCCA FC 2:1 in a closely contested encounter.

The tax collectors scored through Cromwell Rwothomio and Said Kyeyune in the 85th and 89th minutes respectively whereas Mike Mutebi's charges scored a consolation in the 90th minute courtesy of enterprising youth Herbert Achai.

The win by Sam Ssimbwa's side moves them into fourth position level on points with third Placed SC Villa (33) and only separated by goal difference. Villa have 9 compared to URA's 7.

KCCA FC squandered their opportunity of claiming top spot on the table by failing to win. Vipers now stand a chance of stretching their lead at the top of the table to five points with a win against Onduparaka who they host on Sunday 2nd February, 2020.
