KCCA FC's star boy and hotcake Allan Okello flown out to Algeria in the late hours of Thursday to finalise a lucrative deal that will see him join conquerors of his current club in this season's CAF champions league.
The deal is thought to be in the region of $200K to be received by KCCA and a three year contract is a possibility which is also to include a 20% amount that will be presented to KCCA if Allan is sold by Paradouu AC to another club.
If the deal goes through, Allan Okello will join a list of recent moves that have seen KCCA players go to North Africa. Among them include Derrick Nsibambi who joined Egypt's outfit Smouha, Patrick Kaddu who joined Morocco's RS Berkene.
On the other hand, Allan's counterpart Mustafa Kiiza's deal to join Hassania Agadir of morocco stalled. It is said the legal number of foreigners playing for the club had been exhausted and therefore Kiiza would be signed and loaned to another which he refuted.
The duo was influential in KCCA's winning of last season's league trophy with both players making the final three-man list for the Airtel-FUFA men's player of the year which Allan Okello eventually won. However, the two have missed the two opening matches of the second round and the club lost the most recent fixture without them 2:1 against Bright Stars.
Mustafa Kiiza is thought to land back from Morocco and continue with KCCA FC as he awaits another deal to come his way. KCCA FC are fourteen time winners and defending champions currently standing second on a sixteen team log with 35 points, seven adrift of log leaders and three time champions Vipers.
