With the second round of the Star Times Uganda Premier League kicking off on 7th November, 2020, Blizz Uganda brings to you Mbarara City's second round fixtures.
The Ankole Lions who are playing in their third top flight season finished the first round at the mid of a sixteen team log with 19 points from 5 wins, 4 draws and 6 losses.
The Hon. Mwine Mpaka owned club hired three coaches in the 15 matches of the first round: Brian Ssenyondo, Paul Nkata but the former was reinstated as a replacement for the latter towards the end of the first round. In his last games at the Mbarara based side, Ssenyondo seemed to have changed some things at the club to positives and supporters are looking forward for a good performance in the second round .
His first game of the second round will see him travel to the capital city for a duel with defending champions KCCA who will be hoping to reduce the four points gap set by table leaders Vipers at the end of the first round.
