Events emcee and TV presenter, real names Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats has opened up a war with a local tabloid Red Pepper over defamation and has demanded for a compensation of 100Million before taking them to court and asking for 500Million.
MC Kats states that the Namanve based media house wrote and published false stories about him and his baby mama Fille Mutoni so now he wants them to compensate him with UGx 100Million, 50 for him and 50 for Fille.
He revealed that he intends to sue Red Pepper for a story they published against him on 23rd December 2019 and if they fail to do it in three working days, he will change his colours.
"Red Pepper, you published a story when I now have money, so every journalist listen to this, Red Pepper I want Shs100m if I don’t go to court. But if I go to court, I want Shs500m. Red Pepper I want Shs100m for peace talks and you will have give me that money in four working days. If not so the court will judge"- Kats stated during an interview.
