Mbarara to End the Season's First Round at Home Against KCCA FC

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League is underway today Tuesday 26th November, 2019 with two fixtures. Mbarara City will host defending champions KCCA FC at Kakyeeka stadium whereas URA FC will also round up their first round with a fixture against Proline at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.

KCCA FC who are still hopeful of a first round league top finish venture into the match knowing that a win today will keep their hopes alive by moving to second, displacing BUL FC but level on 29 points.

However, in Mbarara City they, face a rejuvenated side who have won two successive matches with a 4:1 aggregate score since the return of 26 year old tactician, Brian Ssenyondo.

"The Ankole Lions" had not won in their last six matches before this run. A win today for the Western Uganda based side will move them to eighth in the table.

At Bombo Barracks grounds, 10th placed URA FC who will be playing their last first round match are hosting bottom placed Proline FC. A win by by the tax collectors will move them to sixth position level on points with Wakiso giants (20) but with a superior goal difference.

A win for the Mujib Kasule owned team will move them a slot but not out of the relegation zone though it will increase their hopes for survival by the of the first round.
