News reaching our desk at Blizz Uganda indicates how coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi came to an agreement with the Purple Sharks on Sunday 24th November, 2019.

The CAF B coaching license holder had a few days back mutually agreed to terminate contract with the Arua based Onduparaka FC due to the Club's failure to meet his sign on fees and salary arrears adding to more than 40MShs.

At Wakiso Giants, he takes over a side that currently lies sixth on a 16 team log with 20 points after six wins, two draws and seven losses. However, they can lose the position by the end of first round if URA wins its last match of the first round.

The former Uganda Cranes and St.Patrick Athletics midfielder has coached a number of clubs among which includes, Onduparaka (2 times), Mbarara city, Lweza Fc, Bright Stars, Kyetume and URA (assistant coach). He also coached the Ocean Stars I.e the National team of Somalia.

He brings all this wealth of experience to Wakiso Giants who provided a fatty offer to the gaffer and will work along with Steven Bengo as a trainer. The other staff will include Kasule Baker and and Yusuf Ssenyonjo (Goalkeeping coach).

Wakiso Giants beat Kyetume FC, Mbarara City and Tooro United to the signature of the experienced coach. The three sides have not replaced the departures of George "Best" Nsimbe, Paul Nkata and Wasswa Bbosa respectively and will now have to look to other options.
