Renowned traditional healer Maama Fiina has revealed her detailed wishes for how her funeral should be conducted, leaving no room for drama or exploitation as everything is supposed to be taken care of by her daughter Fiina.
In a heartfelt conversation with her eldest daughter, Fiina, the spiritual leader shared her concerns about the growing chaos often associated with funerals. She emphasized that her instructions aim to ensure her send-off is respectful and free of unnecessary disruptions.
"I want people to eat and drink as they like. I’m not one to be treated harshly. Whatever I have told Fiina while alive is what she will do when I die," she stated firmly.
Maama Fiina expressed her disapproval of politicians attending her funeral for publicity purposes, warning against insincere mourning.
"No politician will come crying with one eye while the other keeps looking. Just inform them everything is planned and underway," she remarked.
She also called out family members who might exploit the occasion for personal gain, saying, "No family member should come crying out loud or making unnecessary requests to the mourners. I don’t like nonsense at my funeral."
Furthermore, Maama Fiina voiced her opposition to rituals or practices involving her body after her passing, firmly stating, "I don’t want to be moved to places where people might even put herbs in my body or perform any rituals."
