Team Good Music singer, the self proclaimed King of the East, Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso has come out and bragged about starting the video-sharing platform TikTok in Uganda, says he was contacted to be the first person to influence for the chinese video sharing App.
Speaking out to the media on Live cameras, Pallaso stated that he was contacted by a Kenyan woman and another from South Africa to help them extend TikTok to Uganda.
Pallaso says the Kenyan woman Gladys convinced him to open the first TikTok account in Uganda, which was verified shortly after its opening.
"I was the first person to join TikTok in Uganda, I was contacted to bring the App to Uganda since no one else knew about it, I made the App so popular that I was even the first Ugandan to get a verified on the App"- Pallaso said out braggantly.
The singer went on to express gratitude for TikTok’s positive impact in the country and helping to propel Uganda’s content creation and music industry.
