Nigeria’s Chocolate City to Join 200 Ugandan Artists Lined Up to Perform at Nyege Nyege Festival

The Uganda Waragi Nyege Nyege Festival 2024 is set to thrill audiences from November 14th to 17th at Jinja Golf Course with a standout lineup of some of Africa's most exciting music talents including Nigeria’s renowned Chocolate City label, featuring Major AJ, Tar1q, and Candy Bleakz. Together, they’ll deliver an impressive blend of Afrobeats, lyrical charm, and empowering performances that celebrate African unity and artistic diversity.

Local talent takes center stage with over 200 Ugandan acts gracing the festival, from chart-topping sensations to fresh voices redefining the country’s music scene. 

Fans can expect powerhouse performances by Elijah Kitaka, Pia Pounds, Recho Rey, and Zex Bilangilangi, among others, alongside rising stars like Tai Dai, Mwami, Denesi, and the genre-bending Professor Joewi, introducing his signature "Black Wave" sound.

For an added layer of musical dynamism, the festival’s DJ lineup features the best of Uganda’s club scene, including DJ Ssese, DJ VansS, Kampire, R3igndrops, Janja Deejay, Hibotep, and more. 

These DJs will bring a mix of eclectic and energetic sets that will keep the audience moving throughout the event.

Charismatic emcees Adele Kiele, Sheila Salta, and Jokwiz will be on hand to guide the festivities, ensuring every set is met with enthusiasm and interaction. 

This year's Nyege Nyege Festival lineup embodies the festival’s themes of resilience, unity, and cultural pride, setting the stage for an extraordinary four-day experience.
