The High Court’s Lands Division has issued an order granting Mary Nambwayo access to the home she shares with media personality Ssuuna Ben, amidst a heated property dispute that has been going on for months.

The house located in Garuga, Entebbe, Wakiso District, is at the heart of a legal battle between the two former partners, with both claiming ownership.

Issued on October 31 by His Worship Samuel Kagoda Ntende, the order temporarily allows Nambwayo access to the property on Busiro Block 435, Plot 759 in Bukaya, Wakiso District, until further court proceedings. Nambwayo maintains that she co-owns the property, which she says was jointly acquired and developed with Ssuuna Ben. However, Ssuuna Ben has repeatedly asked her to leave, a demand she’s strongly resisted.

Under the court’s directive, Ssuuna Ben and any affiliates, including romantic partners and employees, are restricted from actions that might impact the property’s title or ownership. This includes prohibitions on title cancellations, sales, transfers, leasing, mortgaging, construction modifications, or any attempts to evict Nambwayo and her dependents from the home.

The court's decision preserves Nambwayo's rights and limits potential disruptions to her occupancy as the main case awaits a decision under Miscellaneous Application No. 2871 of 2024.

Until the resolution of the temporary injunction request, this order ensures that both parties’ stakes in the multi-million property remain secure.
