The Sheraton Garden was on fire as Madrat and Chiko, real names Dickson Lubega and Frank Mubiru, celebrated their 10th anniversary in comedy with the highly anticipated Nseko Buseko Season 5. The show, titled "10 Years of Madrat & Chiko," drew an enthusiastic crowd of fans, well-wishers, and fellow entertainers from various walks of life.


Hosted by Uncle Mo and Uncle Mark, the night was filled with unforgettable performances from Uganda’s beloved artists. Mesearch Semakula wowed the audience with his soulful tunes, while Lydia Jazmine electrified the crowd with a performance that got everyone on their feet. The legendary Dr. Bbosa brought his usual energy, while comedians Omala Daniel, Talkers, and Tumbeetu kept guests laughing throughout the evening. To add to the spectacle, the Victoria University Dancers, Shebby Music, DJ Tony, and DJ Nimrod ensured that the vibe was nothing short of fun.

The event’s significance was highlighted by the presence of notable figures such as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Nyamutoro, and Hon. Nsereko. Their attendance reflected the influence and respect Madrat and Chiko have garnered in the Ugandan entertainment landscape over the past decade.

Madrat and Chiko, renowned for their satirical and witty comedy, added their unique touch to the event, poking fun at current societal issues and sparking conversations among attendees. Their humor was not only entertaining but thought-provoking, showing their growth and impact on the comedy scene over the years.

Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, the event organizer, expressed his excitement at the success of the night, noting that “10 Years of Madrat & Chiko” had become a staple in Ugandan entertainment. He extended heartfelt thanks to partners and sponsors for their continuous support.
