Singer Cinderella Sanyu alias Cindy has fired back at local events promoter Bajjo Clear Process to stop undermining local musicians works. Cindy says if Bajjo cant afford an artist for a music show, he shouldn't hire them.
The development follows Uganda Promoters Association issuing a document which stipulated the sum of money each and every artist in Uganda for a booking.
The document indicates the maximum fees at which promoters are going to be hiring various Ugandan artists to perform at any event all aimed at aimed at protecting their business with all the risks involved and to avoid being overcharged by musicians.
Based to the document released, Bobi Wine is the most expensive artist in Uganda as he goes for Shs20m to have him perform anywhere at a show in Uganda.
Signed and published by promoter Bajjo, the Coordinator of National Promoters Association of Uganda, the document states that artists that feel undervalued have to start booking and organising shows themselves.
However, this has not gone well with the King Herself who through her socials has come out with a differing perception about the idea thereby showcasing her dissatisfaction.
