Dancehall singer  Beenie Gunter’s highly anticipated event, originally known as "Guntalk Fest," has officially been rescheduled to November 2, 2024, and with a fresh twist as the name has been changed to the “Dancehall Heat Rave,” which promises to be bigger and better at Garden City Rooftop.

Beenie Gunter, one of Uganda’s favorite reggae dancehall stars, is the man behind chart-topping hits like "Pon Mi," featuring Nigerian sensation Skales, and the ever-popular “Olina Work.” With a career that kicked off in 2013 with his debut single “No Offense,” Beenie has since carved out a name for himself, even establishing his own label, GunTalk Movement, after parting ways with Stain.

The decision to change the date and rebrand the event reflects the show’s evolution. It’s clear Beenie is taking things to the next level. “I’m so excited to bring my fans something new with ‘Dancehall Heat Rave,’” Beenie shared. “We’ve got some crazy surprises lined up, and I can’t wait for everyone to vibe with us!”

Aly Allibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa Group, who’s behind the organization of this much-talked-about event, explained the shift: “Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience for Beenie Gunter’s fans. The new name and date are all part of delivering a high-energy night celebrating the dancehall genre. We’re grateful for the fans’ patience and support – trust me, it’s going to be worth the wait!”
