Singer Nina Roz, who recently took a musical break to concentrate on her studies has now come out and bitterly ashamed the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President,, singer Eddy Kenzo, accusing him of telling lies that she also got part of UGx. 5billion sacco money.
Speaking out during an interview with Sanyuka TV's Brian Wakko, singer Nina Roz clarified that Eddy Kenzo is not helping artistes fight for copyright but rather just secure a few funds from the government.
She also made it clear that she was one of the few people who started UNMF but abandoned it when it redirected away from the original plan, hence forcing her to go back to the International University of East Africa to pursue more studies.
“When I saw that we weren’t going anywhere, I decided to go back to school, let Kenzo stop telling you lies that he gave me that money,. As musicians we have bigger problems than getting Sacco money”- she explained.
Now, Roz is channeling her energy into tackling broader issues affecting the country, steering clear of any drama surrounding SACCO funds. In her eyes, her priorities are set on making a significant impact rather than getting caught up in disputes.
