Having trended for months down in Uganda, Gravity Omutujju’s song “Okwepicha” has now taken new heights after it recently featured in the new series.
Going by YouTube views, this song, has so far garnered 1.9 million views since its release a year ago.
Many Ugandans who were watching Queenie got a surprise during the very first episode of the series in which the song is heard playing in the background.
“Queenie,” currently streaming on Hulu, tells the story of a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman navigating life in South London.
