In a joyous celebration of love and commitment, Chairman Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu and Majorine Namukisa Katumba sealed their union in a splendid wedding ceremony at the historic Rubaga Cathedral Church after years of illegally chewing eachother.

The beloved couple, surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers, exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony, pledging to stand by each other through all of life's trials and triumphs.

Rubaga Cathedral holds a special significance for the Ssentamu family, serving as the cherished venue for generations of matrimonial celebrations, including those of Chairman Nyanzi's parents in the 1940s and his late father, Mr. J.W Ssentamu, and his wife in the 1970s.

Notably, the cathedral has also witnessed the marriage of another prominent figure, Bobi Wine, who wed Barbie Kyagulanyi there in 2011, adding to the rich tapestry of love stories woven within its walls.

Chairman Nyanzi and Majorine's journey of love spans an impressive 23 years, blessed with the joy of raising 11 children together.

Following the ceremony, the couple will host their guests at a reception at Freedom City, marking this significant milestone in their relationship with an evening of festivity and joy.

While honeymoon plans were initially in the works, Chairman Nyanzi has opted to postpone the romantic getaway, citing pressing responsibilities that require his attention.

Nonetheless, the newlyweds remain steadfast in their commitment to each other, embarking on this new chapter of their lives with optimism and love.
