The 2024 Miss World contest came to a close on Saturday, March 9 2024, with UGANDA Winning the Miss World Africa beauty with a purpose (BWAP) award. Hannah was beat over 100 contestants for the Miss world crown to the top 2 in Africa and Top 8 most beautiful and competitive in the world overall. Although the Top crown went to Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková, Uganda delivered a strong and impressive impact.
Miss Uganda’s amazing ability to combine her smashing beauty with her impressive intelligence to articulate her cause earned her an excellent performance on the world stage in Mumbia- India. Ms Karema won hearts of Judges and audience with her fascinatingly articulate story of her upbringing and her resolve through her BWAP’s project, strong enough to earn her the outright winner of Miss World Africa Beauty with a purpose award.
Hannah Karema who is the current StarTimes Brand Ambassador addressed the Media at StarTimes head offices on Lumumba avenue Kampala city and shared her story about the tough journey during the competitions in India.
This achievement and the success story of season 1 sets a stage for StarTimes and Miss Uganda Management to embark on Journey to the crown season 2 next month, April 2024 with a high bar.
