Since his arrest earlier this year in January, Ugandans have been praying for the return of singer Beenie Gunter but now he is finally back home after weeks in detention in Abu Dhabi.
A video clip shared by his wife Nickie Berry shows Beenie Gunter excitedly reuniting with his family and friends at Entebbe Internatinal Airport upon his arrival.
Beenie had been arrested in Abu Dhabi following a club fight that led to his detention which shocked and saddened his fans and the music industry as a whole.
Although he was eventually granted a bail, he was still not permitted to return to Uganda until his case was fully resolved.
The singer was welcomed through Entebbe Airport by his lovely baby mama Nicki Berry, their son and a few close friends and fans.
