Ugandan socialite Zarinah Tlale aka Zari Hassan has finally spoken out and confirmed her bitter breakup with husband Shakib Cham Lutaaya, she says he is the one that released his video clips kissing DJ Alisha after she dumped anc chased him away from her House in South Africa.
Speaking out in a phone interview with Millard Ayo TV, Zari Hassan opened up and said that the video was shot to promote Diamond's new song 'Mapoz' while he was holding hands and walking with him in Johannesburg, South Africa on February 18, 2024, on the sidelines of the reality series Young, Famous & African (YFA).
She disclosed that Zuchu and other people were present during the shooting of the video where she held hands with Diamond.
"Sasa siku ile tulikua tunashoot kwenye YFA kule Johannesburg Baba T akaniambia 'Mama T video yangu naona haitembei vizuri tufanye video, nisaidie unifanyie promo ntaipost kwa hio wimbo nkasema poa. Hapo hapo Zuchu amesimama tena Zuchu kabisa alikua amesimama na watoto ameshika Nillan na Latifah. Dadangu Zahara amekuwepo, kaka alikua amekuja na mtu wa kuchange pesa Diamond alikua na hela anataka kuchange. The whole family was there," Zari said.
The 43-year-old mother of five, however, regretted that she did not inform her husband Shakib that she was shooting the video with Diamond. Zari stated that Shakib totally lost his cool on seeing the video of her and Diamond trending on social media.
"Hio ilikua Sunday last week. Thursday Baba T akapost hio video. Video imetoka naona mambo yameanza. Shakib was at home na siku hio because we had finished shooting alikua anarudi Uganda. Na hajarudi because of the video, Thursday kabisa he was supposed to go back to Uganda. Nimefika nyumbani akaniambia 'lakini mke wangu hivi vitu mbona mi sielewi?' Nkamwambia mme wangu unaona kweli sijakuambia tulishoot hio video, hio ndo nadhani ni tatizo yangu'. I didn't tell him na hio kabisa ni makosa yangu because ningemuweka kwenye consideration kujua he is my husband and I was meant to him 'look I did a video na Baba T but it is strictly for the promotion of the song'.
"Sasa yeye mwenye kweli kabisa ameshtuka ameona hio video on Instagram ikatokea that 'why did you tell me because such things zikitokea I look disrespected. Inaonekana kama wewe ukiwa na baba watoto wako unanidisrespect na vitu kama hivyo'. Hapo hapo nkamwambia 'unaona honestly nisamehe, ningerudi kabisa kukuambia'. Alikua ameshika feelings, he was so upset about it and all of that," Zari said.
