The Uganda Police has issued a public plea for assistance in arresting the suspects behind the attempted murder of City Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and the tragic killing of his bodyguard, Corporal Richard Muhumuza. They have put up a UGx 20Million Bounty.

Fred Enanga, the Uganda Police Spokesperson, shared that the weapon used in the assault on Pastor Bugingo is reportedly linked to the unsolved murder of blogger Isma Olaxes, which occurred last year.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (CID) at Kibuli in Kampala has taken the helm of the investigations, showcasing their dedication to cracking the case.

Initial findings point to the use of a pistol in the attack on Pastor Bugingo's Toyota Lexus car. On January 5, the police forensics team, like detectives in a gripping crime drama, handed over the pastor's vehicle to their CID counterparts for a deep dive into the investigation. The car, shrouded in mystery since the incident, has become a key piece in this real-life puzzle.

Fred Enanga, with a stern tone as if addressing a captivated audience, condemned the spread of false propaganda surrounding the incident.

He urged the public to be cautious consumers of information, emphasizing the importance of relying on verified sources to avoid the pitfalls of misinformation.
