City Socialite Sheila Carol Gashumba has attacked badly Kampala promoters asking why they are bringing a musician like RudeBoy to Lugogo Cricket Oval not executive venues like Serena Hotel with a limited sitting capacity.
Sheila said that promoters are devaluing musicians by bringing them in cheap venues that they don’t deserve. To her such concerts are meant to lower musicians brand and calling for unnecessary concert flops.
“But which Promoters are working with these artists these days” Sheila started while quoting Rudeboy’s tweet announcing his upcoming concert in Kampala. “Are you intentionally trying to lower artists brands with flopped shows” she added as she added crying emoticons.

Rudeboy the Nigerian half of the former P Square duo is slated to perform live in Kampala on February 14th 2020, the coming Valentine’s Day at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala Uganda.
Last Friday on October 25th, Nigerian pop artist Patoranking performed live on the same stadium, Kampala in an event that was not at full capacity. It’s from this observation that Sheila Gashumba says that promoters make a wrong choice of venues putting these artists in mega stadiums that they fail to fill ending up making flops, which lowers the brand reputation.
“I honestly feel bad about this! Rudeboy at Serena yes but Cricket Oval, hell No!” she concluded.
