Congolese Afropop band, Offgang Music has burst onto the music scene, leaving an indelible mark with their debut single, "Mon Bebe," through which they showcase their unique talents proving they are more than just refugees that erupted from Nakivale Refugee Camp.
Formed in 2023 within the confines of Nakivale Refugee Camp in Uganda, the trio of brothers and vocalists, Delphin Munguakonkwa (aka Tatee Offgang), Bienfait Mugula (aka Tajiri Offgang), and Akili Bashubire (aka Dollar Offgang), bring a fusion of infectious beats and soulful melodies. Hailing from Bukavu, DRCongo, the Offgang brothers have created a musical journey that transcends borders, blending genres such as Afropop, Afrobeat, Dancehall, and RnB.
The multi-talented trio isn't just limited to their vocal prowess; they are also adept songwriters, dancers, and shrewd businessmen.
In a bold move, Offgang Music initiated their artistic journey in 2023, establishing their own label, named Offgang Music. The label, currently headquartered in the vibrant city of Kampala, Uganda, reflects the group's commitment to self-expression and entrepreneurial spirit.
Delphin Munguakonkwa, widely recognized by his stage name Tatee Offgang, is the soulful crooner of the group. Bienfait Mugula, known as Tajiri Offgang, adds his unique flair, while Akili Bashubire, aka Dollar Offgang, brings his distinct style to the mix. Together, they form a powerhouse of creativity, captivating audiences with their dynamic performances.
