In May 2020, motor-mouthed blogger Kato Ashraf, commonly known as Ashburg Kati quit from Bobi Wine's People Power, a movement he was a pioneer for and officially joined NRM after privately meeting President Museveni but now he has begged for forgiveness and wants to go back.
In a video posted on his X account, Ashburg, known for his association with opposition politician Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, expressed remorse for his actions and the individuals he betrayed when he opted to abandon the cause after being offered enticing incentives by the ruling government.
Ashburg gave his reason why he has finally decided to leave although he said no returning back to the party.

It’s by this time that i’ve decided to quit NRM… And i will never vote anything Museveni again 😪😡,”- he captioned a post.
It should be noted that Facebook actually shut down his social media platforms after several people reported him.
He is the reason why Facebook is still illegal here in Uganda.
