Singer Ronald Alimpa has been arrested by Police for failing to show up numerous times since he failed to perform in Rakai and fans destroyed and burned property worth millions.
According to info, Alimpa was booked to perform at two shows in Rakai during the Christmas festivities last year but unfortunately he did not show up and revellers borned properties like music speakers and generator.
The Police tracked him down and he was arrested briefly but eventually released on bail with the requirement that he pay Ugx 120 million in compensation for the destroyed property.
However, ever since, Alimpa has been playing hide and seek, making efforts for the promoter to get justice futile.
This saw the complainant storm Alimpa’s residence, where he was arrested and taken to Rakai where his case file is.
