Singer Desire Luzinda has announced with excitement how her 'daughter' Phiona Batamulinza has officially graduated with a bachelors Degree in Library and Information science.
Even though Phiona is not Luzinda's biological daughter, she takes her as her own since she is funded by her Non-Government organization, a charity Project Luzinda started up a few years ago.
A few years back, Desire embarked on giving hope to the less privileged by elevating their livelihood under her Desire Luzinda Foundation.
"Years ago, the Lord gave me the assignment through the @desireluzindafoundation to give hope to the helpless; and though I knew the work would be weighty, I gladly let the Lord lead my footsteps.
It's often really difficult. We are managing steadily. Thanks to God's grace. Today is one of those days when I take a step back with my team and congratulate ourselves on a significant accomplishment that the Lord has made to brighten Phiona's day. I could not be more pleased to be a mother to many.
Phiona Batamulinza is the first person in our organization to have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science.
