Van Dee is a dancehall artist who was born and raised in Arua, his passion for music started at a younger age when he was in primary school. He grew up listening to hip hop and reggae which has influenced alot in his music career. Van Dee was well known by the song called Party time ft Ezzy Magic which put him on a map. He is currently signed to the Monster Family,a record label owned by Ragga Python.
