Buddu and Busiro get first leg advantage in Masaza Cup semi-finals

Two matches have been played on Sunday 9th October in the 2022 Masaza Cup semifinals with Buddu winning 1:0 against Bulemeezi and Busiro drawing 3:3 with Singo.

Bruno Bunyanga scored the much needed goal for defending champions Buddu who were playing at home at Masaka Recreation Ground. The result means they visit Bulemeezi next Saturday 15th October needing only a draw to progress to the finals.

In Mityana at Ssingo Saza Stadium, home side Ssingo failed to take full advantage of being at home when they were held to a 3-all draw by 2019 Runners Busiro.

Joseph Ssewali hit a brace and Amuli Mukasa completed the scores for Ssingo with a brace from Muzanyi Akram and Alex Mandela scoring for Honarable Paul Nsubuga’s side, Busiro.

The draw away to Ssingo by Busiro gives the latter a big advantage when the host the former in Ssentema next Saturday.
