The first legs of the 2022 Masaza Cup tournament have successfully been played Win Ssingo, Buddu and Busiro getting slim one goal margin wins.
Playing away from home, 2019 runners up Busiro beat record champions 2:1 in a match played at Kabulasoke PTC. Isaac Ofoyrwoth and Ddumba Yuda scored for the visitors whereas Raymond got a consolation for Gomba.
Two time champions Ssingo visited and beat Kyaggwe 1:0 in a match at Nakisunga Saza ground. Thanks to a sole effort from Raymond Yuda.
Bruno Bunyanga was on target as two time champions Buddu beat visitors Mawokota 1:0 at Masaka Recreation Ground.
Bulange group winners Buwekula fell to a 1:0 loss to host Bulemeezi at Kasana Playground in Luweero. Ronald Kaye scores for the two time champions.
The return leg fixtures are scheduled for Sunday 25th September 2022 with aggregate winners progressing to semi finals.
