The world has today woken up to the shocking news of how the World’s richest man Elon Musk is interested in buying Manchester United.
The American tweeted, "I'm buying Manchester United ur welcome."
The club has had a poor last decade failing to win a Premier League title and have the worst start to the 2022/23 season sitting at the bottom of the 20-team table after losing both matches in the new season.
This poor start to the season has left Manchester United’s fans furious and also asking for the owners (Glazer Family) to quit so as new owners come in.
Manchester United’s transfer policy is worse and many targets have so far failed to materialize, a thing that has left many fans dissatisfied. De jong, Alvaro Morata,Adrien Rabiot, Benjamin Sesko have all defied joining Manchester United.
Musk, who according to Forbes magazine is the richest in the world with the net worth of $270bn (£223bn) tweeted at 3:01 AM on 17th August, 2022. The tweet has left man fans moved hoping of a new Manchester United in case a deal is triggered.
