The 2022 Masaza Cup tournament gets to match day seven this weekend with Buddu’s visit to Ssingo taking center stage of all.
The first leg played at Masaka recreation ground ended in a 1:0 victory for the home side Buddu. Standing third on the table, Buddu severely need the win and will hope Kyadondo do not win against Buluuli so as they take the second position.
The match binds two time Masaza Cup champions and the sides with the most support from fans, with each side always eager to show the other it’s the best.
Singo however are at the top of the table with 15 points with the loss against Buddu the only one for the Mityana side this season.
Another do or die encounter will be in Mubende as Buwekula will play host to Mawokota in the return return leg. Buwekula won the first leg in Buwama 1:0 but their opponents had to make a petition against fielding a player who once featured in Uganda Premier League.
However, Mawokota lost the petition and this points to the fact that the match will be worth watching.
