Ahead of their Masaza Cup Opening match against Gomba on Sunday, Buwekula has gotten a new sponsor in AKVO international who gave the team 50MUgx.
Speaking on behalf of AKVO international a company which deals in digging wells, Boreholes, making solar energy and more, Raymond Kisuule said they were driven by the good performance of Buwekula in the most recent Masaza tournament where they finished runners up after losing 2:0 to Buddu in the finals.
In addition to the 50MUgx, AKVO international gave Buwekula 500 kits of the team’s Jersey to the fans, 250 home kits and 250 away kits.
The sponsorship is the second Buwekula has gotten following a GTC Cargo deal that gave last season’s runners up a blank Cheque when the side unveiled their coach three weeks ago.
Buwekula opens their new season with a clash against record Masaza Cup champions Gomba (5) on Sunday 3rd June 2022 at Kasenyi Play Ground.
