Uganda Cranes Leaves for Tunisia for a Four-day Training Camp Ahead of Clash with Algeria.

Uganda Cranes will have a four-day training camp in Tunisia before connecting to Oran for the opening game of the 2022 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Algeria on 4th June.

Uganda Cranes head coach Micho Milutin Sredejovic and his contingent left Uganda for Tunisia as preparations for the Algeria clash intensify. Uganda will play Algeria on Saturday 4th June and the four-day in Tunisia is intended to fine tune the players for Algeria ‘s weather.

A crop of 17 local based players was joined by eight foreign players to make a 25 player squad to Algeria. Yiga Najiba, Moses Aliro, Denis Otim and Mato Rogers we’re left in a camp at Kisasi and will reunite with the squad when they return to prepare for a game against Niger on Wednesday 8th June at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
